Ingredients

For the gratin

  • 2 medium zucchini

  • 3 medium potatoes

  • 150 g of fromage blanc

  • 1 egg

  • 50 ml of milk

  • 40 g grated cheese (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • Black pepper (optional)


Preparation

🥔 1. Prepare the vegetables

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C .

  2. Wash and cut the zucchini into thin slices.

  3. Peel and cut the potatoes into thin slices.


🥄 2. Prepare the gratin mixture

  1. In a bowl, beat the egg with the fromage blanc, milk, nutmeg, salt and pepper.

  2. Mix well until smooth.


🔥 3. Assembly and cooking

  1. Lightly oil a baking dish.

  2. Alternate layers of zucchini and potatoes.

  3. Pour the gratin mixture over the vegetables.

  4. Add grated cheese on top if desired.

  5. Bake for 35 minutes , until the gratin is golden and soft.
