Ingredients
✅ For the softness
2 apples (Golden or Reine des Reinettes type)
2 eggs
60 g caster sugar
100 g of wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
50 ml of milk (or almond milk)
40 g melted butter
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
1 pinch of salt
Preparation
🍏 1. Prepare the dough
Preheat the oven to 180°C .
Peel and cut the apples into small pieces.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture turns white.
Add the melted butter, milk and mix well.
Add flour, yeast, salt and cinnamon. Mix until smooth.
🍎 2. Add the apples and cook
Add the apple pieces to the dough and mix gently.
Pour the mixture into a lightly buttered mold.
Bake for 25 minutes , until the cake is golden brown and a knife inserted in it comes out clean.
❄️ 3. Rest and tasting
Leave to cool before unmolding.
Enjoy warm or cold, plain or with plain yogurt as an accompaniment.
