Ingredients


For the compote

  • 3 apples (Golden or Gala)

  • 1 very ripe banana

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 small glass of water

  • 1 pinch of cinnamon (optional)


Preparation


🍏 1. Prepare the fruits

  1. Wash, peel and cut the apples into small pieces.

  2. Cut the banana into slices.


🔥 2. Cooking the compote

  1. In a saucepan, add the apple pieces, water and vanilla extract.

  2. Let cook over low heat for 10 minutes , stirring occasionally.

  3. Add the banana and continue cooking for 5 minutes , until the fruit is soft.

  1. Blend the compote for a smooth texture or roughly mash it with a fork for a chunky version.

  2. Let cool before tasting.
